Pursue the Purse

I am so excited to share with everyone the counts from the 1st year of Pursue the Purse! In an amazing short few weeks and the public event that was held on Thursday, December 17th, 2015 at Deer Lodge Community Club we achieved the following due to many generous citizens and businesses of Winnipeg and surrounding areas... dadadadadadaaaa drum roll please....
352 packed purses, 12 fully packed men’s bags and 303 empty purses and $155.00 that will go towards the purchase of more essential items to keep things going!
A few folks have even made arrangements to drop off more items needed to pack the many purses that will help those in need. There are so many people and businesses to thank and I truly cannot express how grateful I am to everyone that joined 2015's Pursue the Purse!

The donations from everyone will be delivered to numerous abuse and homeless assistance shelters/organizations within the coming weeks.

Thanks again everyone! Wishing all of you a fun filled winter season and blessed 2016! Peace and Love to all!

The cold is here! Let’s get together again and spread the cheer!

We can make a difference together! Join the Pursue the Purse Donation Drive!

Please friends, think of others this winter, we all have items that we do not use that someone truly can make use of.  Think of what this can do for someone... lift their spirits; look more professional for a job interview or just being able to have something that they can call their own!

If alternate arrangements are required in the event you cannot attend the event on December 10th but would still like to participate I can be reached at (204) 782-3864 or
Email me at:  shannon@marriagewinnipeg.ca

Thank you in advance and please feel free to invite others to take part in the Pursue the Purse Donation Drive!
